Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Design Engineer (Mechanical) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in plastic and sheet metal design, along with proficiency in SolidWorks. As a Design Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the development and optimization of our products, ensuring they meet the highest standards of quality, functionality, and manufacturability.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design Development: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop innovative and cost-effective mechanical designs for recent products or product enhancements.
- Plastic and Sheet Metal Design: Utilize your expertise in plastic and sheet metal design to create robust and manufacturable components and assemblies.
- SolidWorks Proficiency: Demonstrate proficiency in SolidWorks software to create 3D models, assemblies, and detailed drawings.
- Prototyping and Testing: Work closely with the prototyping and testing teams to build and evaluate prototypes, iterating designs as necessary to meet performance and quality criteria.
- Design Optimization: Conduct design reviews and analyses to identify opportunities for design optimization, including cost reduction, improved performance, and enhanced manufacturability.
- Documentation: Prepare and maintain accurate documentation, including drawings, specifications, and bills of materials, ensuring compliance with company standards and industry regulations.
- Collaboration and Communication:



Effectively communicate and collaborate with internal teams, suppliers, and external partners to ensure seamless integration of design solutions throughout the product development lifecycle.

Qualifications and Skills:

- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- 2+ years of experience in mechanical design, with a focus on plastic and sheet metal components.
- Proficiency in SolidWorks CAD software is required.
- Strong understanding of engineering principles, materials, and manufacturing processes.
- Experience with design for manufacturability (DFM) and design for assembly (DFA) principles.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities.

Additional Preferred Qualifications:

- Experience with other CAD software such as Autodesk Inventor or CATIA.
- Knowledge of finite element analysis (FEA) and computational fluid dynamics (CFD).
- Familiarity with geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T;) standards.
- Previous experience in Medical and Sheet Metal Fab Manufacturing Industry

Job Type: Full-time Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹26,000.00 per month
