JMC Paper Tech Pvt. Ltd. is looking for a qualified and motivated Design Engineer (Mechanical) to join our engineering team. The candidate will be involved in the design and development of mechanical equipment and machinery, preparation of engineering drawings, and coordination with various departments to support successful manufacturing and project execution.
Key Responsibilities
· Develop and prepare mechanical designs for industrial machinery and equipment.
· Prepare detailed 2D engineering and manufacturing drawings.
· Develop and modify 3D models and machine assemblies.
· Prepare and maintain Bill of Materials (BOM) and related engineering documentation.
· Interpret engineering specifications and convert design concepts into manufacturing-ready drawings.
· Coordinate with the Production, Purchase, and other engineering teams during project execution.
· Review designs and drawings for accuracy, dimensions, functionality, and manufacturability.
· Make necessary design modifications and improvements based on manufacturing requirements.
· Support the engineering team in resolving design and technical issues.
· Maintain proper records of drawings, revisions, and technical documentation.
· Work according to project timelines and ensure timely completion of assigned design work.
Qualification
Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering
Required Skills
· Good understanding of mechanical engineering fundamentals.
· Ability to read and understand engineering drawings.
· Knowledge of mechanical components, assemblies, and manufacturing processes.
· Knowledge of 2D CAD drafting and mechanical design.
· Good problem-solving and analytical skills.
· Valuable communication and coordination skills.
· Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
· Strong attention to detail.
Experience
Freshers and experienced candidates may apply.
