– Battery & Inverter Designer

Position: Mechanical Design Engineer – Battery & Inverter

Key Responsibilities

- Design and develop battery packs, battery enclosures, inverter enclosures, mounting structures, brackets, and sheet-metal components.
- Prepare detailed 2D drawings, 3D models, assemblies, and manufacturing drawings.
- Perform design development considering DFM/DFA, assembly, serviceability, and cost optimization.
- Coordinate with manufacturing, electrical, procurement, and testing teams for design validation.
- Review and modify designs based on prototype testing and manufacturing feedback.
- Support BOM preparation, engineering change management, and drawing/document control.
- Ensure designs meet applicable mechanical, thermal, safety, and environmental requirements.

Required Software Skills
- AutoCAD – 2D drafting and manufacturing drawings
- SolidWorks – 3D modelling, assemblies, sheet metal,



and drawings
- Creo – 3D modelling and mechanical design
- CATIA – Part, assembly, and surface modelling
- ANSYS SpaceClaim – Geometry preparation and design modifications

Preferred Experience
- Experience in battery packs, lithium-ion battery systems, UPS/inverters, power electronics enclosures, or EV components.
- Knowledge of sheet-metal design, aluminium profiles, plastics, die-cast components, and mechanical fasteners.
- Understanding of thermal management, IP-rated enclosures, vibration, and mechanical packaging is an advantage.
- Ability to read and understand GD&T; and engineering drawings.

Job Type: Full time Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹17,000.00 per month
