- Design and develop Special Purpose Machines (SPM) and automation equipment.
- Create 3D models and 2D manufacturing drawings using SolidWorks.
- Prepare assembly drawings, component drawings and machine layouts.
- Prepare and maintain BOM (Bill of Materials).
- Understand project requirements and support machine design development.
- Coordinate with Assembly, Electrical and PLC teams.
- Make design modifications based on machine trials and requirements.
- Check dimensions, tolerances and manufacturability.
- Support assembly, testing and commissioning activities.
- Maintain proper design documentation.
Required Skills
- Basic knowledge of SolidWorks – 3D & 2D.
- AutoCAD knowledge is an advantage.
- Basic knowledge of mechanical components and machine design.
- Ability to read mechanical drawings.
- Basic knowledge of GD&T; and tolerances.
- Good learning, communication and problem-solving skills.
- SPM / Industrial Automation knowledge is an added advantage.
Qualification Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech – Mechanical Engineering
