As the industry moves toward electrification, we are expanding our EV business and building a strong purchase team to su pport it.**Position: Deputy Manager – EV Purchase
Location: Manesar
Experience: 10+ years
Qualification: B.Tech / Diploma**
Key Responsibilities
- Read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications
- Develop and select current suppliers, and manage new component development from prototype to mass production
- Conduct supplier audits and monitor performance on quality, cost, and delivery
- Handle SAP operations: create PR and PO, track orders, maintain data
- Apply zero-base costing, set target costs,
and explain them logically to suppliers to arrive at fair pricing
- Coordinate with Sales, Production, Quality, and Engineering teams
- Maintain effective communication with suppliers and across departments
- Train, guide, and mentor team members to improve their skills and performance
Skills Required
- Strong technical, analytical, and negotiation skills
- Good command of MS Office, especially PowerPoint, with strong presentation skills
Preferred Background
- EV powertrain (motor, controller, gearbox), PCB assembly, and electronics parts
- Experience in a Japanese company is an added advantage
