1. Role Objective

Manage day-to-day demat account operations, process share transfers, handle pledges, and ensure flawless compliance with depository guidelines (CDSL/NSDL).

2. Key Responsibilities & Scope of Work

 Demat & Remat Processing: Handle dematerialization, rematerialization, and new client account opening or modification requests securely.

 Transfers & Settlements: Process on-market, off-market, and inter-depository transfer instructions accurately within strict market deadlines.

 Pledge Management: Manage pledge, unpledge, and invocation requests smoothly to meet client margin requirements effectively.

 Corporate Actions: Update client holdings and process complex corporate actions including dividends, splits, bonuses, and rights issues.

 Reconciliation & Audits: Conduct regular ISIN, holding, and ledger reconciliations; support internal and statutory DP audits meticulously.

 Documentation & Compliance: Maintain Delivery Instruction Slips (DIS), KYC documents,

and historical records according to SEBI and depository rules.

3. Skills & Qualifications Required

 Education: Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Finance, or a related functional field.

 Experience: 2 to 6 years of core experience in DP operations within a SEBI-registered stockbroking firm.

 Certifications: Mandatory NISM Series VI (Depository Operations) certification.

 Technical Skills: Strong functional knowledge of CDSL/NSDL guidelines and standard back-office depository software.

 Attributes: Exceptional attention to detail, high numerical accuracy, and strong internal coordination skills.

 Education: Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Finance, or a related functional field.

 Experience: 2 to 6 years of core experience in DP operations within a SEBI-registered stockbroking firm.
