About Inferyx
Inferyx is a next-generation Data Orchestration Platform enabling enterprises to build scalable Data Lakes using Medallion Architecture (Bronze → Silver → Gold) across various domains including BFSI, Telecom, Retail, Manufacturing, and Healthcare. Inferyx accelerates data engineering delivery through a low-code orchestration engine, reducing data pipeline build times by up to 60% compared to traditional approaches.
We are aggressively expanding our India footprint and looking for a seasoned Delivery Manager to take end-to-end ownership of our client delivery programs.
Role Purpose
As the senior delivery owner for Inferyx’s enterprise client accounts, you will inherit an active, operational engagement and serve as the single point of accountability for delivery health, stakeholder management, and client satisfaction. You will operate with high autonomy, manage technical complexity, and ensure delivery excellence—enabling our executive leadership to focus on nationwide growth.
Key Responsibilities
1. Client Delivery Ownership
- Own end-to-end delivery of the Inferyx data platform, including medallion architecture implementation, sprint governance, and Go-Live milestones.
- Lead daily/fortnightly scrum calls, sprint reviews, and stakeholder reporting.
- Maintain delivery health by tracking sprint velocity, proactively managing risks, resolving blockers, and escalating only critical exceptions to executive leadership.
- Ensure all contractual SLAs, delivery milestones, and quality standards are consistently met or exceeded.
- Maintain and update the Client Delivery Runbook, RACI matrix, and issue logs, presenting monthly summaries to Inferyx leadership.
2. Stakeholder & Relationship Management
- Act as the primary senior relationship manager between Inferyx and client teams (Project Managers, Architects, and Business Owners).
- Conduct fortnightly on-site visits to client locations to participate in steering committees, executive reviews, and architecture sessions.
- Manage delivery escalations professionally, converting challenges into opportunities to strengthen client trust.
- Identify and cultivate internal client champions to advocate for Inferyx platform adoption and expansion across other business units.
3. Program Governance & Reporting
- Drive structured program governance using weekly status reports, risk registers, RAID logs, and monthly steering dashboards.
- Maintain a transparent, metric-driven single source of truth for delivery status that is executive-ready at all times.
- Prepare and present monthly delivery review decks to Inferyx’s Head of Technology, COO, and CEO.
- Track key delivery KPIs, including sprint velocity, defect rates, deployment frequency, and Client NPS.
- Manage Production incidents, conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA), and implement sustainable action plans to minimize incident recurrence.
- Manage Change Requests (CRs) professionally—scoping, pricing, and negotiating without damaging client relationships.
4. Technical Collaboration & Platform Adoption
- Partner with Inferyx engineering and pre-sales teams to ensure the platform is deployed to its maximum capability at the client site.
- Identify expansion opportunities within client accounts for new business units, additional data domains, or advanced medallion layers.
- Participate in architecture reviews, data model walkthroughs, and pipeline design sessions, applying technical depth to ask the right questions.
- Translate client feedback into actionable insights for internal product teams to shape the Inferyx product roadmap.
5. Team Leadership & Onboarding
- Successfully onboard into the engagement via a structured 4–6 week handover from the outgoing delivery lead.
- Mentor and manage junior delivery resources or Business Analysts assigned to the account.
- Establish and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for repeatable delivery processes.
- Contribute to Inferyx's overall delivery methodology through best practices, reusable frameworks, and lessons learned.
Qualifications & Requirements
Essential (Must Have)
- Experience: 9 to 13 years of total experience in technology delivery, program management, or client-facing delivery roles within enterprise IT.
- Domain Knowledge: Strong understanding of Data platforms—Data Lakes, Data Warehouses, ETL/ELT pipelines, or Data Orchestration tools.
- Architecture: Practical understanding of Medallion Architecture, Lakehouse concepts, or multi-layer data processing (Bronze / Silver / Gold).
- Agile Governance: Hands-on experience leading Agile/Scrum delivery (sprint planning, backlog grooming, retrospectives, and velocity tracking).
- Location & Mobility: Must be currently residing in Pune (or local to Pune) and willing to visit client sites in Hinjewadi Phase 2 on a fortnightly basis.
- Certifications: PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent Project Management certification.
- Soft Skills: Excellent communication skills in English and Hindi; proven capability to navigate complex corporate structures and manage stakeholders up to the C-suite level.
Preferred (Good to Have)
- Exposure to cloud data platforms such as Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse, GCP BigQuery, Databricks, Snowflake, or AWS.
- Experience working in a product startup or scale-up environment, demonstrating adaptability in fast-paced setups.
- Understanding of BFSI data domains (e.g., reconciliation, settlement, regulatory reporting) or Telecom data domains.
- Cloud certifications such as Azure Solutions Architect, AWS Certified Data Analytics, or GCP Skilled Data Engineer.
- Track record of building delivery playbooks, SOPs, and scaling delivery processes from scratch.
