Role Description The Data Scientist will work on-site in Janakpuri in a full-time capacity, collaborating closely with product, content, and engineering teams to turn cricket-related data into meaningful insights. Day-to-day responsibilities include collecting and cleaning data from multiple sources, building and validating statistical and machine learning models, and creating predictive tools to enhance live commentary, fan engagement, and content personalization.

The role involves designing experiments, conducting exploratory data analysis,



and producing data visualizations and dashboards for internal stakeholders.

The Data

Scientist will also support decision-making by generating reports, interpreting trends in user behavior and match data, and recommending data-driven improvements to features and fan experiences.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess robust skills in Data Science and Data Analytics.
- Candidates should possess solid grounding in Statistics and Data Analysis.
- Candidates should possess practical experience in Data Visualization and related tools.
- Proficiency in programming languages commonly used in data work (such as Python or R) and familiarity with SQL.
- Experience building and evaluating statistical or machine learning models in a production or research environment.
- Ability to communicate complex analytical findings in clear, concise terms to non-technical stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a quantitative field (such as Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or related discipline).
- Interest in cricket analytics and sports data, with prior work or projects in this domain considered an advantage.
