Securze is a cybersecurity and data privacy consulting firm helping organisations become compliant with India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act (DPDPA). We are expanding our privacy practice in Bangalore and are looking for privacy professionals who can join immediately and take ownership of client engagements.

What you will do:

- Lead DPDPA compliance engagements from gap assessment through to implementation and closure.
- Carry out data discovery, data mapping, and data flow analysis across client systems and business processes.
- Work with client IT and security teams to implement technical privacy controls such as consent management, access controls, data retention, encryption, and breach response mechanisms.
- Draft and review privacy policies, notices, consent flows, DPIAs, records of processing, SOPs, and data processing agreements.
- Prepare clear compliance reports, risk registers, and status updates for client management.
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients, run workshops, and handle day-to-day communication in a professional manner.
- Stay current with DPDPA Rules, MeitY notifications, and Data Protection Board developments.

What we are looking for:

- Minimum 2 years of experience in data privacy, information security, or GRC.




- Working knowledge of DPDPA 2023 and the DPDP Rules. Exposure to GDPR or other global privacy laws is a plus.
- Sound technical understanding of cybersecurity concepts such as IAM, encryption, logging, cloud security, and application security, and the ability to translate legal requirements into technical controls.
- Strong documentation and report writing skills.
- Confident, clear communication with both technical teams and senior stakeholders.
- A responsible, skilled attitude with the ability to manage client work independently.

Certifications:

- Mandatory: ISO/IEC 27001 Lead Auditor or Lead Implementer
- Good to have: CISA, CISM, CISSP, CDPSE, CIPP/E, CIPM, CIPT, ISO/IEC 27701 LA/LI, DSCI DCPP or DCPLA
