We are looking for an experienced Data Modeler (Level III) to design and develop enterprise-scale conceptual, logical, and physical data models for data warehouses, data lakes, and operational databases.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and maintain conceptual, logical and physical data models.
- Develop dimensional models including Star Schema, Snowflake Schema and Data Vault.
- Work with Erwin, PowerDesigner, ER/Studio or IBM InfoSphere.
- Develop and optimize complex SQL and database schemas.
- Work across relational databases such as PostgreSQL, SQL Server, Oracle and MySQL.
- Design scalable models on Snowflake, Databricks, Azure Synapse, BigQuery or Redshift.
- Apply data governance, metadata, lineage and data quality standards.
- Collaborate with Data Engineers, Data Architects and Business Analysts.
- Optimize models using indexing, partitioning and appropriate denormalization.
- Maintain data dictionaries,
ER diagrams and source-to-target mappings.
Mandatory Requirements
- 7 to 10 years of relevant Data Modeling/Data Architecture experience.
- Strong hands-on Data Modeling experience.
- Experience with at least one major modeling tool: Erwin / PowerDesigner / ER Studio / IBM InfoSphere.
- Robust SQL and database experience.
- Experience with at least one cloud data platform: Snowflake / Databricks / Azure Synapse / BigQuery / Redshift.
Mandatory Certification: CDMP OR Microsoft Azure Data Engineer Associate (DP-203).
