Critical Skills To Possess

- Bachelor’s degree in information management, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field. A master's degree or relevant certifications will be advantageous.

- 5-8 years of proven experience in roles related to data governance, data management, or information management.

- Demonstrated experience in working with data governance frameworks, policies, and procedures with previous experience in implementing metadata management practices.

- Familiarity with data privacy regulations such as GDPR, HIPAA, or industry-specific compliance standards.

- Solid analytical skills to identify data-related issues and propose effective solutions using specialized data governance tools, Excel, SQL, Power BI, or similar.





- Ability to translate regulatory requirements into actionable and comprehensive data governance policies.

- Knowledge of establishing clear data ownership and stewardship responsibilities.

- Proven experience in designing and implementing data quality assessment processes.

- Understanding of data security principles and experience implementing data security measures.

- Knowledge of access controls, encryption, and data masking techniques.

Preferred Qualifications

- BS degree in Computer Science or Engineering or equivalent experience
