We are seeking a detail-oriented and efficient Data Entry Operator to join our data management team. In this role, you will be responsible for transcribing alphanumeric information from physical and digital source documents into our secure systems. The ideal candidate possesses a rapid typing speed, a high level of accuracy, and a strong commitment to data confidentiality and integrity.
Key Responsibilities
- Data Input: Insert text-based and numerical information from source documents into company databases within designated time limits.
- Data Verification: Review data for deficiencies, errors, or inconsistencies, and correct any discrepancies before final entry.
- Document Compilation: Gather, sort, and organize files, invoices, or reports to prepare raw materials for digital processing.
- System Maintenance: Update existing system records and perform regular data backups to eliminate the risk of data loss.
- Researching Gaps: Conduct brief research or check with project managers to resolve incomplete or illegible documents.
- Administrative Tasks: Use standard office equipment to scan hard-copy records, print generated summaries, and store physical paperwork systematically.
- Security Adherence:
Comply with organizational data integrity policies and keep sensitive company and client information strictly confidential.
- Software Knowledge: Proven familiarity with spreadsheet programs like Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets, alongside standard database platforms.
- Attention to Detail: A keen eye for spotting typos, misplaced numbers, and formatting errors.
- Time Management: Strong organizational skills to prioritize high volumes of work and meet tight daily deadlines.

Qualifications & Experience
- Education: High school diploma, GED, or equivalent certificate; formal computer training or a business data processing course is a distinct plus.
- Experience: Prior experience as a data entry clerk, typist, or administrative assistant is preferred but not always mandatory for entry-level positions.
