About The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Engineer to join our remote team. This role is ideal for professionals with extensive experience in data analysis, data science, or data engineering who are passionate about transforming raw data into actionable insights. As a Senior Data Engineer at Kake, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable data pipelines, workflows, and data models that support analytics, reporting, and machine learning initiatives.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, analysts, and engineers, to translate complex business questions into effective data solutions. Your expertise will help drive data-driven decision-making across the organization,



ensuring high data quality and integrity while fostering best practices in data management and analysis.

Qualifications The ideal candidate will possess at least five years of experience in data analysis, data science, or data engineering, with a strong background in SQL and working with relational or NoSQL databases. Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or similar is essential, along with hands-on experience building and maintaining data pipelines, ETL/ELT processes, and data warehouses. Familiarity with data visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI, or Looker is required to effectively communicate insights.

Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal, are necessary to collaborate with diverse teams. The ability to work independently in a fast-paced, remote environment is crucial for success in this role.

Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain robust data pipelines and workflows that support analytics, reporting, and modeling needs.
- Analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and actionable insights that inform business strategies.
- Build, validate, and maintain statistical or machine learning models to address complex business problems.
- Ensure data quality, consistency, and integrity across multiple sources and pipelines.
- Design and optimize data models, schemas,



and data warehouses to support scalable analytics solutions.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into effective data solutions and reports.
- Participate in data governance, best practices, and continuous improvement initiatives across projects.
- Identify potential data risks early in the development process and implement mitigation strategies.
