We are looking for experienced data engineers with hands-on, production-grade expertise in Alteryx Designer and robust SQL skills to join our data engineering team. You will design, build, and optimize complex Alteryx workflows that power reporting, analytics, and downstream applications for our clients, while collaborating closely with US-based stakeholders during EST business hours. SQL skills are a must-have; hands-on experience with Snowflake is preferred but not required.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, build, and optimize complex Alteryx Designer workflows for data blending, cleansing, and transformation across multiple source systems

- Develop reusable Alteryx macros (standard, batch, and iterative) and analytic apps to automate recurring data preparation tasks

- Connect Alteryx workflows to a variety of structured and unstructured data sources, including databases, flat files, and APIs

- Publish, schedule, and manage workflows on Alteryx Server, monitoring runs and resolving failures

- Troubleshoot and optimize workflow performance for large, complex, multi-source datasets

- Partner with BI, analytics, and application teams to translate business requirements into efficient data preparation pipelines

- Ensure data quality, integrity, and security controls are applied consistently across all engineered workflows

- Use SQL to query, validate, and cross-check data supporting Alteryx workflows, applying Snowflake experience where applicable

- Provide production support and root-cause analysis during EST-aligned shift hours

- Document workflow designs, data lineage,



and standard operating procedures for the team

Required Skills & Experience

- 4+ years of overall IT experience, with strong hands-on expertise in Alteryx Designer (data blending, cleansing, transformation, macros, analytic apps)

- Must have strong hands-on SQL skills for querying, validating, and troubleshooting data (joins, aggregations, filtering, query optimization)

- Hands-on experience publishing, scheduling, and managing workflows on Alteryx Server

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for designing efficient data preparation and transformation logic

- Experience working with large, multi-source datasets from databases, flat files, and APIs

- Solid understanding of data preparation, ETL, and data quality best practices

- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and communication skills

- Willingness and ability to work onsite, 5 days a week, in EST-aligned shift hours (5:30 PM 2:30 AM IST)

Good to Have (Preferred)

- Hands-on experience with Snowflake (schemas, warehouses, basic query optimization) is preferred

- Alteryx certification (Core / Advanced)

- Exposure to BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker for downstream consumption

- Prior experience in Banking, Financial Services, or Wealth Management domains

Location & Logistics

- This is an onsite role based out of our Noida or Gurugram (NCR) office — candidates should be based in or willing to relocate to the NCR region.

- The role requires working 5 days a week from office, in a shift aligned with US Eastern Time (EST) business hours: 5:30 PM – 2:30 AM IST.
