Discover the Role A Data Architect is responsible for defining and governing the organization's data architecture strategy, ensuring that data platforms, models, integrations, and governance frameworks support business transformation goals. In this role, the architect leads the design of scalable, secure, and reusable data solutions using Microsoft Azure and Microsoft Fabric, enabling trusted and integrated enterprise data.

The position acts as a bridge between business stakeholders, solution architects, data engineers, and governance teams to ensure that data assets are aligned with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

1.EnterpriseDataArchitectureDesign

- Define the end-to-end enterprise data architecture.
- Develop conceptual, logical, and physical data models.
- Establish data standards, principles, and architecture guidelines.
- Ensure alignment between business processes and data structures.

2.Azure&MicrosoftFabricSolutionDesign

- Design scalable data platforms using:
- Microsoft Fabric
- Lakehouse Architecture
- Data Engineering Pipelines
- Data Warehousing Solutions
- Data Factory/Data Pipelines
- OneLake

- Recommend optimal cloud data architecture patterns.

3.DataIntegration&DataFlowManagement





- Define integration patterns across enterprise applications.
- Design ETL/ELT frameworks for data ingestion and transformation.
- Enable seamless movement of data between operational and analytical systems.
- Establish real-time and batch processing strategies.

4.MasterDataManagement(MDM)&Governance

- Implement enterprise-wide Master Data Management practices.
- Define data ownership, stewardship, and governance processes.
- Establish metadata management and lineage frameworks.
- Utilize governance tools such as Microsoft Purview or similar platforms.

5.DataTransformation&Mapping

- Design source-to-target mappings.
- Define transformation rules and business logic.
- Ensure consistency across reporting, analytics, and operational systems.
- Support data migration and modernization programs.

6.DataQuality&Compliance

- Define data quality standards and validation mechanisms.
- Implement monitoring and auditing processes.
- Ensure compliance with organizational and regulatory requirements.
- Promote data consistency, accuracy, and reliability.

7.StakeholderEngagement

- Collaborate with business leaders and technology teams.
- Translate business requirements into technical architecture solutions.
- Present architecture designs and recommendations to senior stakeholders.
- Provide technical leadership during project delivery.
