Job Summary
We are looking for a motivated and technically sound Cyber Security Executive to join our team. The candidate will assist in monitoring, identifying and addressing basic cybersecurity threats and vulnerabilities across IT systems and networks.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor security alerts, logs and suspicious activities.
- Assist in identifying and assessing security vulnerabilities.
- Perform basic vulnerability assessment and penetration testing activities.
- Monitor network, endpoint and system security.
- Assist with firewall, antivirus and security tool monitoring.
- Support incident identification, documentation and reporting.
- Assist in security audits and implementation of security best practices.
- Maintain cybersecurity documentation and incident records.
- Understand and apply basic security frameworks and best practices.
- Stay updated on common cybersecurity threats and vulnerabilities.
Required Qualification
- B.Tech/B.E. in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cyber Security or a related field.
- CEH (Certified Ethical Hacker) Certification from EC-Council is mandatory.
- 6 months to 1 year of relevant experience in Cyber Security / Information Security.
Required Skills
- Basic knowledge of Networking, TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/HTTPS and Firewalls.
- Understanding of Vulnerability Assessment and Penetration Testing (VAPT).
- Basic knowledge of OWASP Top 10.
- Familiarity with security tools and SIEM concepts.
- Basic understanding of incident response and security monitoring.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong willingness to learn and develop in the cybersecurity domain.
