About The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Application Security Engineer to join our dynamic team in Bangalore. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of application security principles, vulnerability management, and threat modeling, with hands-on expertise in secure software development practices. This role involves collaborating closely with security, AI, and engineering teams to identify, analyze, and remediate security vulnerabilities across various platforms and applications.

The candidate will play a pivotal role in enhancing our security posture through cutting-edge solutions, automation, and continuous improvement of security processes within our DevSecOps pipeline. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work at the forefront of cybersecurity, AI integration, and cloud security, contributing to the protection of critical digital assets and infrastructure.

Qualifications

- Total Experience - 6 - 10 Years
- Notice Period - Immediate - 15 days
- Location - Bangalore




- Strong experience in Application Security, Vulnerability Management, Threat Modeling, SAST/DAST and Secure SDLC.
- Hands-on expertise in Python/Java, REST APIs, Git and CI/CD/DevSecOps.
- Good understanding of Cloud Security (AWS/Azure), OWASP, CWE/CVE and vulnerability assessment.
- Exposure to GenAI/LLMs, Claude/OpenAI, AI Agents, Prompt Engineering and MCP is highly preferred.
- Experience in AI-driven vulnerability discovery, exploitability analysis, remediation and security automation is an advantage.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively with Security, AI, and Engineering teams.

Responsibilities

- Design, implement, and manage application security protocols to safeguard organizational assets against cyber threats.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing using SAST, DAST, and other security tools to identify security gaps.
- Develop and maintain threat models to anticipate potential attack vectors and mitigate risks proactively.
- Integrate security into the SDLC by establishing secure coding practices, code reviews, and automated security testing within CI/CD pipelines.
- Collaborate with development teams to remediate identified vulnerabilities and ensure compliance with security standards and best practices.
- Leverage automation and scripting (Python/Java) to streamline vulnerability detection, reporting, and remediation processes.
- Monitor and analyze emerging security threats, including those related to cloud platforms (AWS/Azure), and implement appropriate safeguards.




- Stay updated on the latest security trends, OWASP guidelines, CWE/CVE databases, and vulnerability assessment techniques.
- Contribute to AI-driven security initiatives, including vulnerability discovery using AI/ML models, exploitability analysis, and automation of security operations.
- Participate in cross-functional teams to develop innovative security solutions, including AI agents and prompt engineering for security automation.
