About the Role

We are looking for a motivated and hands-on Security Engineer with 2–4 years of experience in IT security. The ideal candidate will have practical experience managing firewalls, Microsoft 365 security, endpoint security, vulnerability management, and security monitoring.

The candidate will be responsible for maintaining and improving the organization’s security posture, responding to security incidents, implementing security controls, and ensuring systems and endpoints remain protected against evolving threats.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage and maintain enterprise firewall infrastructure, including configuration, rules, VPNs, NAT, and access policies.
- Monitor firewall and security logs and investigate suspicious network activity.
- Implement and maintain Microsoft 365 security controls, including Microsoft Defender, Entra ID, MFA, Conditional Access, and security policies.
- Manage endpoint security solutions, including antivirus/EDR, device protection, and security policies.
- Monitor security alerts and investigate potential security incidents.
- Perform initial incident response, containment, investigation, and escalation as required.
- Support vulnerability assessment and remediation activities across servers, endpoints, and network infrastructure.
- Ensure security patches and updates are applied in accordance with organizational policies.
- Assist with identity and access management, including user access reviews and privileged access controls.
- Maintain security documentation, policies, procedures, and incident records.
- Work with IT and infrastructure teams to implement security best practices.
- Participate in security audits, compliance activities, and periodic security assessments.




- Stay updated on emerging cybersecurity threats, vulnerabilities, and industry best practices.

Required Skills & Experience
- 2–4 years of experience in IT Security / Cybersecurity.
- Hands-on experience with firewalls such as Fortinet, Sophos.
- Good understanding of Microsoft 365 security and Microsoft security technologies.
- Experience with Microsoft Defender for Endpoint / EDR or similar endpoint security platforms.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), MFA, Conditional Access, and identity security.
- Good understanding of networking concepts including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, NAT, VLANs, and routing.
- Experience in security monitoring, log analysis, and incident investigation.
- Understanding of common cybersecurity threats, vulnerabilities, malware, phishing, and endpoint attacks.
- Basic knowledge of vulnerability management and security patching.
- Good troubleshooting and analytical skills.
- Strong documentation and communication skills.

Good to Have
- Knowledge of Microsoft Intune and device management.
- Relevant certifications such as Microsoft or Any firewall

Education Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field preferred.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
