R Systems is seeking an experienced Cyber Resilience Act (CRA) Architect to join our evolving team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and developing resilient systems that comply with the Cyber Resilience Act, leveraging expertise in Embedded C/C++. You will play a vital role in ensuring the security, reliability, and performance of our products while contributing to technical innovation.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design and architect advanced embedded systems that adhere to the Cyber Resilience Act.
- Develop and implement robust software solutions using Embedded C/C++.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and implement effective technical strategies.
- Conduct thorough testing and debugging of designs to ensure their functionality and compliance.
- Provide guidance to team members on best practices in software development and cyber resilience.
- Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies related to embedded systems and cybersecurity.
- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to enhance code quality and team performance.




- Document system architecture, designs, and processes to facilitate clarity and knowledge sharing.
- Engage with stakeholders to ensure alignment between technical solutions and business objectives.

Required Skills:

- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- Extensive experience (typically 8+ years) in embedded system design and development.
- Proficiency in Embedded C/C++ programming languages.
- Strong understanding of the Cyber Resilience Act and its implications on system architecture.
- Experience with system security principles and practices.
- Demonstrated ability to lead technical projects and mentor teams.

Preferred Skills:

- Experience identifying technical discrepancies and maintaining high accuracy in complex codebases.
- Ability to communicate technical information clearly to various stakeholders.
- Previous experience in a regulated industry or compliance-heavy setting.
