Credit Domain Hybrid Developer

Role overview

Were hiring a hands-on Wholesale Credit portfolio monitoring & credit risk MI specialist who also excels at building software and automation. You’ll deliver end-to-end solutions—dashboards, workflow apps, and process automations—primarily across Excel and SharePoint, using Microsoft Power Platform plus HTML/CSS/JavaScript to improve speed, control, and repeatability of Credit MI.

Key responsibilities

- Own delivery of solutions for Wholesale Credit portfolio monitoring and credit risk reporting/MI, from requirement capture through build, testing, and release.




- Develop Power BI dashboards for portfolio monitoring and MI; build robust models using Power Query and DAX with strong reconciliation and auditability.
- Build Power Apps to digitise workflows (data capture, attestations, reviews, approvals) and integrate with SharePoint lists/libraries.
- Build Power Automate flows to automate MI production steps, reminders, escalations, exception handling, and evidence capture.
- Create lightweight internal web components/pages using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to improve user experience, forms, and navigation where Power Platform needs extending.
- Implement data quality checks, versioning, and documentation to ensure solutions are reliable and easy to operate.
- Proactively identify automation opportunities within existing Excel/SharePoint-driven processes and simplify controls without losing rigour.

Required skills & experience Credit domain (must-have)

- Robust experience in Wholesale Credit, specifically portfolio monitoring and credit risk MI/reporting (portfolio trends, exposures, watchlist/early warning concepts, monitoring packs, control evidence).

Technical (must-have)

- Strong hands-on Microsoft Power Platform experience: Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate.
- Solid data modelling skills using Power Query and DAX.
- Proficiency in HTML/CSS/JavaScript (front-end development fundamentals; ability to build and maintain internal UI components).
- Strong working knowledge of Excel and SharePoint as primary data/process platforms.

Ways of working

- Proven ability to deliver independently with minimal supervision: plan, build, test, deploy, and support handover.
- Robust stakeholder management and communication—able to translate credit reporting needs into buildable solutions.
- Structured approach to controls, documentation, and operational resilience.

Nice to have

- VBA automation, Alteryx, API integration, or Java (Core Java / Spring Boot basics).
- Experience building governed Power Platform solutions (environments, permissions, DLP awareness).
