Role Description The Credit Control Manager role is a full-time, on-site position based in Chennai. This role is responsible for managing the company’s credit control function, including setting credit limits, monitoring customer accounts, and ensuring timely collections to maintain healthy cash flow.

The Credit Control

Manager will review and analyze credit risk, approve or recommend credit terms, and follow up on overdue accounts while maintaining professional relationships with customers. Daily tasks include coordinating with the finance and sales teams, preparing credit and aging reports, reconciling accounts, and implementing policies to minimize bad debts.



The role also involves supporting internal audits, improving credit procedures, and contributing to financial planning and forecasting.

Qualifications

- Strong expertise in Credit Control and Credit Management, with a proven ability to manage customer credit limits and collection processes.
- Solid Analytical Skills and Finance knowledge to assess credit risk, interpret financial data, and support decision-making.
- Hands-on experience in Debt Collection, including negotiation, follow-up, and resolution of overdue accounts in a professional manner.
- Proficiency with ERP/financial systems and MS Excel for reporting, reconciliation, and data analysis.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field; professional certifications in credit or finance are an advantage.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Attention to detail, integrity, and the ability to work independently in a structured, deadline-driven environment.
- Experience in manufacturing or industrial sectors, preferably cement or related industries, is a plus.
