About the Role

- We’re looking for a Creative Director – Movies & Stories who can turn a story into a visual experience people want to keep watching.
- You’ll own the visual language and cinematic identity of AI-produced series and films — from the first visual idea to the final frame.
- You’ll think about how a character enters a room, where the camera sits, what the audience sees, what they don’t see, how a scene feels, and how every shot contributes to the story.
- You’ll shape characters, environments, composition, framing, lighting, camera language and visual continuity, while working closely with our AI production pipeline to generate, refine and bring shots to life.
- It’s a creative direction and visual storytelling role for someone who wants to explore what happens when AI becomes part of the filmmaking process.

What You’ll Do

- Define the visual language, mood and cinematic identity of movies and series.
- Build the visual direction for characters, environments, worlds, tone, lighting and overall style.
- Translate story beats into compelling shots, camera movements, compositions and framing.
- Think at both the story level and shot level — ensuring every frame serves the narrative.
- Guide AI-generated shot production and push outputs toward cinematic quality, consistency and emotional impact.




- Establish visual references, styles and creative guidelines that can be carried across an entire production.
- Maintain character, environment, lighting and visual continuity across scenes and episodes.
- Review generated footage, identify what isn't working, and provide clear, actionable creative direction.
- Work closely with story, production, AI and post-production teams to turn scripts into compelling screen output.
- Oversee post-production refinement and final visual polish using DaVinci Resolve.
- Experiment with new AI filmmaking tools, workflows and techniques to continuously raise the quality bar.
- Help build and evolve the visual grammar of AI-native filmmaking at PlotPix.

What We’re Looking For

Must have:

- 3–5 years of experience in creative direction, filmmaking, animation, cinematography, video production or a closely related field.
- Strong understanding of visual storytelling, composition, framing, camera language and cinematic principles.
- A strong eye for lighting, colour, mood, character and environment design.
- Experience with AI video generation or AI-assisted filmmaking.
- Ability to translate an abstract creative vision into specific, actionable visual direction.
- Strong attention to visual continuity and detail.
- A portfolio that demonstrates storytelling through visuals, not just design work.
- Strong understanding of cinematography and visual grammar.





Good to Have

- Experience directing narrative films, series or episodic content.
- Hands-on experience with DaVinci Resolve or similar professional post-production tools.
- Experience creating or maintaining visual consistency across AI-generated content.
- Experience with tools such as Midjourney, Runway, Kling, Veo, Sora or similar AI creative tools.
- Experience working with animation, VFX or virtual production.
- Experience working on films, series, animation, advertisements, music videos, short-form content or other narrative visual formats.
