Job Responsibilities

- Purchase gold jewellery, ornaments, coins, and other gold items from customers.

- Check and evaluate the purity, weight, quality, and condition of gold.

- Conduct gold testing using appropriate testing equipment and procedures.

- Calculate the value of gold based on purity, weight, and prevailing market rates.

- Explain the valuation and purchase process clearly to customers.

- Negotiate purchase prices professionally while following company guidelines.

- Complete KYC and customer documentation as per company policy.

- Maintain accurate records of gold purchased, customer details, weight, purity, and transaction value.

- Handle cash/online payment transactions carefully and maintain proper documentation.

- Ensure secure handling, packing, tagging, and transfer of purchased gold.

- Coordinate with the branch, accounts, and operations teams for smooth transactions.
