Job Summary The Counsellor will be responsible for providing academic, personal, and career guidance to students. The role involves understanding students’ strengths, abilities, and concerns and supporting them in their academic, personal, and career development.

Key Responsibilities

· Provide individual and group counselling to students on academic, personal, and career-related matters.

· Assess students’ interests, strengths, skills, and potential and guide them accordingly.

· Develop a positive rapport with students and create a safe and supportive environment.

· Help students identify and overcome challenges that may affect their academic or career growth.

· Support students in developing both hard and soft skills.

· Guide students in setting short-term and long-term academic and career goals.

· Conduct counselling sessions, workshops, and other student development activities as required.

· Monitor students’ progress and provide appropriate guidance and encouragement.

· Maintain records of counselling sessions, student progress, and follow-up activities.





· Coordinate with teachers, parents, and other stakeholders wherever required.

· Maintain confidentiality and professional ethics while handling student-related matters.

· Perform any other responsibilities assigned by the reporting manager.

Minimum Job Requirements

· Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Education, Counselling, Social Work, or a related field.

· Prior experience as a Counsellor, Guidance Counsellor, Teacher, or in a similar role.

· Basic computer knowledge.

· Experience working with students or youth will be an added advantage.

· Good interpersonal and communication skills.

· Strong listening and counselling skills.

· Ability to build rapport and trust with students.

· High emotional intelligence and empathy.

· Ability to identify students’ needs and provide appropriate guidance.

· Good documentation and follow-up skills.

· Ability to maintain confidentiality and qualified boundaries.

· Professional, patient, and student-friendly approach.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
