Key Responsibilities

- Prepare and maintain product and process costing for food products.

- Calculate and monitor raw material, packaging, labor, manufacturing, and overhead costs.

- Analyze actual costs against standard/budgeted costs and identify variances.

- Prepare cost sheets, profitability reports, and management MIS.

- Monitor inventory valuation, stock consumption, wastage, and production losses.

- Track raw material and packaging material costs and their impact on product margins.

- Conduct variance analysis related to material usage, purchase prices, production costs, and overheads.

- Assist in preparing annual budgets, forecasts, and cost-control plans.

- Work with the procurement team to analyze purchase prices and vendor-related cost changes.





- Coordinate with production teams to monitor production efficiency and wastage.

- Support month-end and year-end closing activities related to costing and inventory.

- Ensure accurate accounting and reconciliation of inventory and manufacturing costs.

- Assist with internal and statutory audits by providing required cost-related reports and documentation.

- Identify areas for cost reduction and process improvement.

- Maintain accurate costing records and ensure compliance with applicable accounting and costing practices.
