Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented Copyeditor & Proofreader to review and refine manuscripts and published content, ensuring accuracy, consistency, clarity, and adherence to publishing standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Copyedit manuscripts for grammar, spelling, punctuation, syntax, and readability.
- Proofread final content to identify and correct errors and inconsistencies.
- Ensure consistency in terminology, style, formatting, and references.
- Follow journal, publisher, and project-specific style guidelines.
- Review tables, figures, headings, citations, and references for accuracy and consistency.




- Coordinate with typesetting and production teams to resolve content-related queries.
- Ensure high-quality, error-free content within project timelines.
- Handle multiple assignments while maintaining accuracy and productivity.

Requirements

- Bachelors or Masters degree in English, Journalism, Literature, Life Sciences, or a relevant field.
- Strong command of written English and excellent grammar skills.
- Good attention to detail and ability to identify inconsistencies.
- Familiarity with MS Word and Track Changes.
- Knowledge of publishing workflows and style guides is an advantage.
- Prior experience in academic, STM, medical, or scholarly publishing is preferred.
- Freshers with robust English and editing skills may also apply.
