Your role and responsibilities:

In this role, you will have the chance to support the deployment of the continuous improvement strategy for a local organizational unit, including promoting a culture of continuous learning and improvement. Each day, you will mentor and coach teams to reach operational excellence and deliver improved results. You will also showcase your knowledge by deploying and leading projects to improve and sustain local business performance.

The work model for the role is: #Li-Onsite The role will support for the ABB India Ltd for Electrification, Smart Building Business to be based at Nelamangala, Bangalore India.

You will be mainly accountable for:

- Support Operational Excellence & Continuous Improvement – Understand business objectives, identify improvement opportunities, and lead initiatives that improve productivity, quality, cost, and operational efficiency.
- Run Lean Transformation Projects – Execute improvement projects from small-scale process enhancements to large transformation initiatives using structured problem-solving and Lean methodologies.
- Process Optimization & Kaizen – Conduct Value Stream Mapping (VSM), identify bottlenecks, improve workflow and line balancing,



and facilitate Kaizen activities to build a continuous improvement culture.
- Training & Capability Development – Deliver Lean training, coaching, and workshops to enable teams to professionally identify, implement, and sustain continuous improvement initiatives.
- Performance & Savings Management – Use data-driven analysis to improve productivity, track operational KPIs, identify root causes, and deliver measurable Operational Excellence (OpEx) savings and sustainable performance improvements.

Qualifications for the role:

- Degree/Diploma in Electrical, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline, with 5–8 years of relevant industry experience in manufacturing or industrial environments.
- Practical experience in Continuous Improvement, Operational Excellence, process development, productivity improvement, and process optimization.
- Solid practical knowledge of Lean and problem-solving methodologies, including 8D, A3, PDCA, DMAIC, Kaizen, VSM, Kanban, and Process Chain Analysis.
- Demonstrated experience working with suppliers, automation partners, and cross-functional teams to deliver automation, productivity, and process improvement initiatives.
- Effective project management and leadership skills, with the ability to lead cross-functional projects, workshops, problem-solving activities, and improvement initiatives from concept to implementation.
- Effective communication, stakeholder management, analytical, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues across organizational levels.




- Professional focus on Continuous Improvement and Lean Six Sigma, with a history of delivering measurable business results; Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or higher is preferred.
