We are looking for a skilled and passionate Continental Chef & Barista to join our team. The ideal candidate should be comfortable working across both the kitchen and coffee bar, with a strong focus on food quality, consistency, presentation, hygiene, and customer experience.

Key ResponsibilitiesContinental Kitchen

- Prepare and present a variety of continental and café-style dishes according to Autumn's recipes and standards.
- Handle breakfast, brunch, sandwiches, salads, pastas, appetisers, and other continental preparations.
- Ensure consistency in taste, portion size, presentation, and food quality.
- Prepare ingredients, sauces, dressings, and other kitchen components efficiently.
- Maintain proper food storage, labelling, temperature control, and stock rotation.
- Monitor food quality and minimise wastage.
- Maintain a clean, organised, and hygienic kitchen at all times.
- Follow food safety, hygiene, and kitchen safety standards.
- Assist with menu development and suggest new dishes where appropriate.

Barista
- Prepare high-quality espresso-based beverages including espresso, americano, cappuccino, latte, flat white, mocha, and other specialty coffee drinks.
- Operate and maintain professional espresso machines, grinders, and other coffee equipment.
- Dial in coffee and maintain consistent extraction, flavour, and presentation.
- Steam and texture milk correctly according to the beverage being prepared.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the coffee bar and equipment.
- Prepare non-coffee beverages such as teas, iced beverages,



and other café drinks as required.
- Ensure every beverage meets Autumn's quality and presentation standards.

Customer Experience & Teamwork
- Provide friendly, professional, and efficient service to customers.
- Communicate effectively with the front-of-house and kitchen teams.
- Work efficiently during busy service periods while maintaining quality.
- Follow Autumn's recipes, SOPs, service standards, and operational procedures.
- Contribute to a positive, respectful, and professional workplace environment.

Requirements
- Previous experience as a Continental Chef, Café Chef, Barista, or in a similar role.
- Good understanding of continental and café-style food preparation.
- Strong knowledge of espresso preparation and basic coffee techniques.
- Ability to work confidently in both the kitchen and beverage station.
- Knowledge of food safety, hygiene, and kitchen cleanliness.
- Good time-management and multitasking skills.
- Ability to work under pressure during busy service hours.
- Strong attention to detail and presentation.
- Reliable, punctual, and professional attitude.
- Passion for food, coffee, hospitality, and customer service.
