Role Summary

We are looking for an ambitious, sharp Editorial Content Writer with 1-2 years of experience to join our core magazine production engine. In this role, you will take ownership of turning high-level content strategies into compelling cover stories, executive profiles, and long-form features. You will drive your assignments end-to-endconducting expert interviews, performing deep research, drafting tight, layout-ready copy, and meeting strict publication deadlines.

Core Responsibilities

- Feature & Profile Writing: Research, pitch, and write engaging long-form features, cover stories, opinion pieces, and C-suite executive profiles for print and digital editions.
- Executive Interviewing: Prepare for and lead structured interviews with industry leaders and subject matter experts to extract standout narrative insights.
- Layout-Driven Copywriting: Craft non-body copy—including deck copy, subheads, pull-quotes, sidebars, and visual captions—tailored directly to magazine layout spreads.
- Fact-Checking & Research:



Conduct original background research and perform rigorous baseline fact-checking to safeguard accuracy and credibility.
- Deadline Precision: Manage multiple parallel story assignments to hit strict "hard-stop" print run and digital publishing schedules.
- Performance Adaptation: Review reader engagement analytics to refine your prose, experiment with storytelling angles, and adapt print pieces into secondary digital formats.

What We Are Looking For:
- Experience: 1–2 years of active writing experience for a magazine, digital publication, media house, or editorial brand.
- Prose & Storytelling: A strong writing style capable of making complex topics engaging, structured, and easy to read.
- Interviewing Edge: Confidence and poise when interviewing high-level executives and translating their ideas into narrative copy.
- Spatial & Layout Awareness: Ability to write within exact word counts, character limits, and visual parameters required by magazine spreads.
- Editorial Discipline: Sharp self-editing habits with solid familiarity with standard style guides.
