About the role:

Zeltis communicates key governance and policy initiatives to the public through accessible video content across digital and broadcast platforms.

We are looking for a content writer to turn research and briefs into impactful Bengali copy, including social posts, scripts, speeches, and articles.

What you'll do

- Write in Bengali across formats — social captions, ad and banner copy, video scripts, long-form pieces, and messaging notes.
- Translate ideas, objectives, and briefs into explicit public messaging adapted to the topic, speaker, and intended audience.
- Absorb a wide range of inputs — research docs, notes, briefs, feedback — and integrate them into a coherent piece.
- Script for video: short-form and Reels, animation and explainer scripts, and long-format YouTube content.
- Give content direction to art directors and video editors, and brief them clearly on intent and tone.
- Handle translation work between Bengali, Hindi, and English, and ad hoc writing as it comes up.
- Research trending topics and adapt copy to what is actually moving on each platform.




- Hold consistency of tone and messaging across everything that goes out.
- Maintain strict confidentiality on unreleased material and internal work.

What you need

- Proficiency in Bengali is a must — strong command of grammar, register, and style, with the ability to write original copy, not just translate it. Working knowledge of Hindi and English are required.

- 3–5 years as a content writer, journalist, or in a similar role, with a portfolio showing public affairs, campaign, or political writing.
- Minimum undergraduate degree.

- Prior experience writing social media posts, ads, or banners in a professional role.
- Strong grasp of platform-specific trends — what works on YouTube, Instagram, and short-form video, and how tone shifts between them.

- Storytelling ability: structure, narrative, and a sense of what makes a line land.
- Able to work to short deadlines and collaborate closely with internal teams.
