We are currently hiring for Content Accessibility Specialist - U3 to work with our Internal team here in Hi-Tech City, Hyderabad, TG OR Sector 62, Noida, UP locations.

Locations: Hi-Tech City, Hyderabad, TG OR Sector 62, Noida, UP (Any location as per your preference)

Experience: 3 years till 9 Years

Work Mode: Work from office

Shift

- Hyderabad: 12PM till 9:30PM (5 Days/Week, Fixed week offs on Sat & Sun)
- Noida: 10:30AM till 8PM (5 Days/Week, Fixed week offs on Sat & Sun)

NOTE: Two-way transportation will be provided Client: UK Based (Publishing House - 500 years old)

Purpose of the role To support embedding accessible content practices and processes throughout English. To be the Subject Matter Expert for Accessibility within English, leading on WCAG standards with an awareness of wider legislative standards (EAA, ADA, etc)

Key accountabilities

Core role:

- Review current guidance and, through collaboration with key stakeholders, firmly embed accessible content practices and processes (Including the leveraging of automation) to support colleagues at point of need.




- Provide clarity to product teams and Learning Operations around the must v ‘optional’ practices for compliance purposes.
- Actively contribute to English’s accessible content strategy and lead the monthly English Accessible Content Forum
- Work closely with Accessibility Leads across Operations and Propositions to identify recurring accessibility issues in content creation, approvals, and publishing, and escalate patterns to improve processes.
- Support product teams during content review and approvals stages ensuring accessibility considerations are addressed early and efficiently.
- Promote colleague upskilling in all of the above through effective communication, provision of relevant resources and engagement in the solutions.
- Provide subject matter expertise to a range of groups including the Hub working group, Task type working group, Assessment leads group.
- Lead on and support the definition of effective metrics to measure content accessibility as a means to raise visibility and to reduce issues, in tandem with other teams.
- Act as theinitialcontact for content accessibility queries.
- Guideproduct teamsonproper application of WCAG standards to our products with an awareness of wider legislative standards (e.g. ADA, EAA).
