Role Overview:

We are seeking an expert Consultant Ophthalmologist specializing in Cataract and Vitreoretinal diseases to join our medical team at the Eye Mantra Super Specialty Center. This is a full-time, high-impact clinical role designed for a surgeon who excels in delivering advanced surgical care and managing complex ocular conditions. You will lead comprehensive diagnostics, perform high-volume surgeries and provide end-to-end patient care in a premium, tech-enabled clinical environment.

Key Responsibilities:

- Diagnostics & OPD Management: Lead pre-operative cataract assessments and perform precise retinal imaging, including Optical Coherence Tomography (OCT) and Fundus Fluorescein Angiography (FFA).
- Advanced Surgical Execution: Independently perform high-volume Phacoemulsification procedures, premium Intraocular Lens (IOL) implants, intravitreal injections, retinal lasers and complex vitrectomies.
- Comprehensive Patient Care: Diagnose, treat and manage acute and chronic conditions, including diabetic retinopathy, Age-related Macular Degeneration (AMD), retinal detachments and urgent ocular emergencies.
- Clinical Excellence: Maintain meticulous clinical records,



adhere to stringent surgical safety protocols and collaborate with multidisciplinary medical staff to ensure seamless patient recovery.

Requirements:

- Education: An MS, MD or DNB in Ophthalmology, coupled with a highly regarded Subspecialty Fellowship in Retina and/or Cataract.
- Experience: A minimum of 2 years of dedicated surgical experience specifically focusing on Phacoemulsification and Medical/Surgical Retina procedures.
- Licensing: Must hold a valid and active Medical Council Registration.
- Skills: Robust clinical judgment, exceptional surgical dexterity and a compassionate bedside manner when counseling patients through complex procedures.
