We are looking for an experienced and skilled Consultant Interventional Radiology to join our healthcare team. The candidate will be responsible for providing diagnostic and minimally invasive image-guided procedures while ensuring high standards of patient care, clinical safety, and qualified excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform and interpret image-guided interventional radiology procedures.
- Evaluate patients and determine appropriate interventional treatment plans.
- Perform procedures such as biopsies, drainages, vascular interventions, and other image-guided treatments as per expertise.
- Collaborate with surgeons, physicians, oncologists, and other specialists for multidisciplinary patient care.
- Ensure appropriate pre-procedure evaluation and post-procedure monitoring.
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and procedure records.
- Follow hospital protocols, infection-control practices, and patient-safety standards.
- Participate in clinical discussions, case reviews, and multidisciplinary meetings.
- Provide counselling to patients and attendants regarding procedures, risks, and expected outcomes.
Eligibility
- MD/DNB in Radiodiagnosis or equivalent qualification.
- Fellowship/advanced training in Interventional Radiology preferred.
- Relevant experience in Interventional Radiology preferred.
- Valid medical registration.
