We are looking for an experienced Consultant Cardiac Anaesthesia to provide specialized anaesthesia care for patients undergoing cardiac and cardiothoracic procedures. The candidate will be responsible for pre-operative assessment, intra-operative anaesthetic management, and post-operative critical care.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive pre-operative assessment of cardiac patients.
- Plan and administer anaesthesia for cardiac and cardiothoracic procedures.
- Provide intra-operative haemodynamic and physiological monitoring.
- Manage high-risk and critically ill cardiac patients.
- Coordinate with cardiac surgeons, cardiologists, perfusionists, and ICU teams.
- Provide peri-operative management for patients undergoing major cardiac procedures.
- Participate in post-operative cardiac ICU management.
- Manage airway, ventilation, haemodynamic instability, and peri-operative emergencies.
- Maintain accurate anaesthesia records and clinical documentation.
- Follow hospital protocols and patient-safety standards.
Eligibility
- MD/DNB in Anaesthesiology or equivalent qualification.
- Fellowship/advanced training in Cardiac Anaesthesia preferred.
- Relevant experience in Cardiac Anaesthesia preferred.
- Valid medical registration.
