Role Description The Commis 3 role at Toscano India is a full-time, on-site position based in Bengaluru. This team member supports the kitchen in daily food preparation, including basic cooking tasks, mise en place, and assisting senior chefs during service.

The role involves following standardized recipes, maintaining high hygiene and safety standards, and ensuring workstations are clean and organized at all times. The Commis 3 will help with plating, portioning, and stocking ingredients,



while learning and applying Toscano’s culinary techniques and presentation styles. Collaboration with the kitchen team and clear communication with colleagues are essential to ensure smooth operations and consistent quality.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Food Preparation and Cooking skills to support daily kitchen operations and service.
- Candidates should possess solid Culinary Skills, including basic knife skills and familiarity with Italian or continental cuisine.
- Candidates should possess a keen understanding of Hygiene and food safety practices in a professional kitchen environment.
- Candidates should possess effective Communication skills to coordinate with chefs and team members during busy service periods.
- Relevant qualifications such as a diploma or certificate in Culinary Arts, Hotel Management, or a related field are beneficial.
- Previous experience as a Commis or in a professional kitchen, willingness to learn, punctuality, and the ability to work adaptable shifts are preferred.
