Role Overview

We are looking for a senior Commercial Technology Lead – SAP S/4HANA to lead the strategic design, implementation and deployment of SAP S/4HANA Sales & Distribution and commercial processes across global/regional business environments.

The role will focus on SD/OTC, Settlement Management, commercial integrations, e-commerce synchronization, trade spend, testing, cutover and hypercare, while ensuring adoption of standard SAP capabilities and clean-core principles.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead the strategic design, configuration and multi-country deployment of SAP S/4HANA SD/OTC and Settlement Management.
- Drive standard SAP adoption and clean-core principles across commercial processes.
- Lead integration between SAP and non-SAP applications, working with integration teams and regional application owners.
- Manage integrations with retail partners, wholesalers and third-party distributors, ensuring secure and reliable transactions.
- Ensure real-time synchronization between S/4HANA and e-commerce/digital commerce platforms, including:
- Pricing
- Product/catalog master data
- Inventory visibility
- Order orchestration

- Lead integration of Revenue Growth Management (RGM) and Trade Promotion Management (TPM) applications with SAP.
- Manage Condition Contract Management (CCM), Settlement Management, rebates,



promotional accruals and trade claims.
- Drive automation of accruals, claims validation, rebate settlements and retailer deduction resolution.
- Establish and govern the overall testing strategy, including SIT, UAT, performance and regression testing.
- Lead cutover planning and execution, including data reconciliation, dependencies, downtime management and rollback plans.
- Lead the post-go-live hypercare/war room for critical issues related to pricing, invoicing, delivery blocks and other commercial processes.
- Govern transition from project implementation to Application Managed Services (AMS).
- Manage Steering Committees, Change Advisory Boards (CAB), configuration freezes and global/regional rollout governance.

Mandatory / Key Skills
- 15 years of overall IT experience.
- 10 years in senior Commercial Technology / SAP leadership roles.
- Retail / FMCG / CPG industry experience – Mandatory.
- Strong experience in SAP S/4HANA SD/OTC.
- Experience leading at least one full-lifecycle global or regional S/4HANA migration/rollout.
- Strong understanding of SAP S/4HANA Condition Contract Management, rebates, accruals and trade claims.
- Strong knowledge of SAP integrations and middleware.
- Experience with SAP Integration Suite, MuleSoft and/or B2B EDI architectures.
- Experience with e-commerce / omnichannel integrations.
- Robust experience in testing, cutover, go-live and hypercare.
- Experience managing Steering Committees, CABs and global/regional rollout governance.
