Role Description The Commis 3 role is a full-time, on-site position located in Hauz Khas. The team member will assist senior chefs in basic food preparation, mise en place, and cooking tasks, particularly for Northern European–inspired dishes.

Responsibilities include maintaining kitchen cleanliness, following standard recipes, ensuring proper food storage, and supporting plating and service for catering orders. The role also involves working closely with colleagues to meet event timelines,



adhering to hygiene and safety standards, and assisting with inventory checks and ingredient preparation.

Qualifications

- Foundational culinary skills, including basic knife work, food preparation, and familiarity with international or European cuisine.
- Knowledge of kitchen hygiene, food safety practices, and ability to maintain a clean and organized workstation.
- Ability to follow instructions, standard recipes, and portion guidelines with attention to detail.
- Robust teamwork, reliability, and time management skills to support catering operations and event deadlines.
- Prior experience in a professional kitchen or catering environment is preferred, especially in a commis or junior cook role.
- Willingness to work flexible hours based on event schedules and peak business needs.
- Culinary certification or formal training from a recognized institute is an advantage but not mandatory.
