Role Description As Co-Founder of CropLia – Agriculture Consultancy, you will help shape the company’s strategic direction, service offerings, and growth roadmap in a full-time remote role. Daily responsibilities include collaborating on business strategy, defining the consultancy model, and identifying market opportunities within the agriculture sector.

You will engage directly with farmers and partners, conduct needs assessments, and translate findings into tailored advisory services and subscription packages. The role involves overseeing client acquisition and retention, contributing to sales and marketing initiatives, and refining processes for field monitoring and data-driven decision support. You will also participate in building internal structures,



supporting team development, and ensuring that CropLia’s solutions remain practical, sustainable, and aligned with farmer needs.

Qualifications

- Robust analytical skills and research abilities to assess farm performance, interpret data, and develop evidence-based recommendations.
- Excellent communication skills to explain complex agricultural concepts clearly, build trust with farmers, and collaborate effectively with partners and team members.
- Proven sales experience and customer relationship skills to drive subscription growth, manage pipelines, and nurture long-term client partnerships.
- Marketing knowledge, including basic digital marketing and brand positioning, to help promote CropLia’s services and reach new farmer communities.
- Background or demonstrated interest in agriculture, agronomy, or related fields; prior experience working with farmers or agricultural businesses is highly beneficial.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to work independently in a remote environment, take initiative, and thrive in an early-stage, fast-evolving company.
- Strong organizational and strategic planning abilities to support business development, service design, and operational efficiency.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in agriculture, business, environmental science, or a related discipline is preferred but not strictly required.
