Job Role

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented CNC Router Operator to join our production team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience operating CNC router machines and be responsible for machine setup, program execution, material handling, quality inspection, and day-to-day production.

The candidate should be able to work independently, follow technical drawings and production instructions, and maintain high standards of accuracy, quality, and safety.

Key Responsibilities

- Operate CNC router machines efficiently and safely according to production requirements.
- Set up the CNC machine, including workpiece positioning, tool selection, tool changes, and machine zero/reference points.
- Read and interpret technical drawings, dimensions, cutting layouts, and job specifications.
- Load and unload materials such as MDF, plywood, acrylic, PVC, wood, foam board, and other sheet materials.
- Load and run CNC programs and monitor the machine throughout the cutting process.
- Adjust cutting parameters such as feed rate, spindle speed, depth of cut, and tool selection when required.
- Perform basic troubleshooting and resolve common machine, tooling, and cutting issues.
- Inspect finished components for dimensions, accuracy, finish, and overall quality.
- Use measuring instruments such as vernier calipers, measuring tapes, and other basic inspection tools.
- Minimize material wastage through proper material positioning and nesting practices.
- Maintain tools, cutters, fixtures, and machine accessories in good working condition.
- Carry out routine cleaning and basic preventive maintenance of the CNC router.
- Maintain production records and report machine or production issues to the supervisor.
- Follow company quality standards,

Required Skills & Qualifications

- 1–3 years of hands-on experience as a CNC Router Operator preferred.
- ITI, Diploma, or relevant technical qualification will be an advantage.
- Good understanding of CNC router machine operation and basic G-code.
- Ability to read technical drawings and understand dimensions and measurements.
- Knowledge of CNC cutting tools, tool selection, feeds, speeds, and cutting depths.
- Basic knowledge of CNC router software such as VCarve, Aspire, ArtCAM, AutoCAD, or similar software is preferred.
- Ability to identify common cutting, tooling, and machine-related problems.
- Valuable attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to work independently and meet production targets.
- Good discipline, punctuality, and willingness to learn.

Preferred Experience Candidates with experience in CNC routing of MDF, plywood, acrylic, PVC, wood, foam board, or similar sheet materials will be preferred.

Experience with 3-axis CNC routers, nesting, engraving, drilling, profile cutting, and material optimization will be an added advantage.
