CNC Programmer –

Key Responsibilities:

- Create and modify CNC programs based on engineering drawings.

- Develop programs using G-code and M-code.

- Prepare CNC programs for turning, milling, VMC, and other CNC machines.

- Read and interpret engineering drawings, GD&T;, and machining tolerances.

- Select appropriate cutting tools, inserts, speeds, feeds, and machining parameters.

- Optimize programs to reduce cycle time and improve productivity.

- Conduct program simulation and prove-out before production.

- Modify programs based on inspection reports and production requirements.

- Support CNC setters and operators during machine setup.

- Maintain and update CNC program records.

- Coordinate with Design, Production, Quality, and PPC teams.

- Ensure programs meet required quality and dimensional specifications.

CNC Operator –

Key Responsibilities:

- Operate CNC machines safely and efficiently.

- Load and unload raw materials and components.

- Follow approved CNC programs and work instructions.

- Monitor machine operation and production cycle.

- Check component dimensions using vernier caliper, micrometer, height gauge, etc.

- Identify abnormal machine conditions and report them to the Setter/Supervisor.

- Maintain required production quantity and quality.

- Perform basic tool changes as instructed.

- Maintain machine cleanliness and workplace housekeeping.

- Record production, rejection, and downtime details.

- Follow safety procedures and PPE requirements.

- Ensure components are properly identified and transferred to the next process.

CNC Setter –

Key Responsibilities:

- Set up CNC machines for new and repeat jobs.

- Mount and align fixtures, tools, and workpieces.

- Set tool offsets, work offsets, and machine parameters.

- Load and verify CNC programs.





- Select suitable cutting tools and inserts.

- Set cutting speed, feed, depth of cut, and other machining parameters.

- Conduct first-piece inspection and ensure dimensional accuracy.

- Make minor program/offset corrections when required.

- Troubleshoot machining and tooling problems.

- Reduce setup time and improve machine utilization.

- Coordinate with CNC Programmer, Operator, Quality, and Production teams.

- Ensure proper tool life and replacement of worn tools.

- Maintain setup sheets and tooling records.

- Follow safety, quality, and housekeeping procedures.

CNC Production Manager –

Key Responsibilities:

- Manage overall CNC production activities.

- Plan daily and monthly CNC production according to PPC requirements.

- Allocate machines, operators, setters, and programmers.

- Monitor production targets, productivity, quality, and delivery schedules.

- Coordinate with PPC, Design, Purchase, Stores, Quality, and Maintenance departments.

- Monitor machine utilization, downtime, rejection, rework, and cycle time.

- Ensure proper CNC programming, setup, and machining processes.

- Review tooling, fixture, and raw material requirements.

- Implement measures to reduce machining cost and cycle time.

- Monitor OEE and machine productivity.

- Identify production bottlenecks and implement corrective actions.

- Ensure preventive maintenance is carried out on CNC machines.

- Train and develop CNC operators and setters.

- Ensure compliance with safety procedures and 5S.

- Prepare daily/weekly/monthly production reports.

- Maintain production records and performance dashboards.

- Support continuous improvement and process optimization.

Pay: ₹12,342.91 - ₹40,777.91 per month
