Role Description
We are looking for a Cloud Software Engineer for a full-time, on-site opportunity based in Morena, Madhya Pradesh, India.
The role is suitable for fresh graduates and technology professionals interested in cloud software engineering, backend development, cloud-native applications, APIs, microservices, databases, containers, DevOps, automation, infrastructure, and scalable distributed systems.
The Cloud Software Engineer will work closely with software, IT, infrastructure, data, analytics, operations, finance, production, supply chain, sales, and other business teams to develop, deploy, integrate, maintain, troubleshoot, and improve cloud-based applications, backend services, APIs, databases, automation solutions, internal platforms, and digital systems.
The role may involve working with AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud, Java, Python, JavaScript, TypeScript, C#, Go, REST APIs, SQL and NoSQL databases, Docker, Kubernetes, serverless technologies, CI/CD pipelines, monitoring tools, and modern cloud-development technologies depending on project and business requirements.
Qualifications
- B.E. / B.Tech / B.Sc. / BCA / MCA / M.Sc. / M.Tech in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Computer Applications, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Electronics, or a related discipline.
- Freshers and experienced candidates are strongly encouraged to apply.
- Candidates with 0–5 years of experience in cloud software engineering, cloud engineering, software engineering, backend development, application development, DevOps, infrastructure engineering, platform engineering, cloud operations, or related technology roles can apply.
- Candidates currently working as Cloud Software Engineer, Cloud Engineer, Cloud Developer, Software Engineer, Backend Engineer, DevOps Engineer, Platform Engineer, Infrastructure Engineer, Systems Engineer, Site Reliability Engineer, Application Developer, Junior Cloud Engineer,
or Associate Software Engineer are encouraged to apply.
- Candidates from IT services, SaaS, product companies, technology, consulting, e-commerce, fintech, telecom, analytics, manufacturing, logistics, FMCG, or other industries are welcome.
- Basic to good knowledge of at least one programming language such as Java, Python, JavaScript, TypeScript, C#, Go, C++, or a similar language.
- Understanding of object-oriented programming, data structures, algorithms, debugging, exception handling, APIs, software architecture, and software-development fundamentals.
- Familiarity with AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud, or similar cloud platforms will be beneficial.
- Exposure to cloud services such as virtual machines, object storage, managed databases, serverless computing, networking, identity and access management, monitoring, containers, or load balancing will be advantageous.
- Familiarity with backend frameworks such as Spring Boot, Django, Flask, FastAPI, Node.js, Express.js, .NET, or similar technologies will be beneficial.
- Basic to good understanding of REST APIs, JSON, HTTP/HTTPS, web services, authentication, authorization, and system integration.
- Familiarity with SQL, MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQL Server, Oracle, MongoDB, Redis, DynamoDB, Cosmos DB, or similar databases will be beneficial.
- Understanding of database design, joins, indexes, transactions, schemas, queries, CRUD operations, and data-access concepts will be advantageous.
- Exposure to Docker, Kubernetes, containerization, orchestration, container registries, or cloud-native application deployment will be beneficial.
- Familiarity with CI/CD concepts and tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, or similar technologies will be advantageous.
- Exposure to infrastructure-as-code technologies such as Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, Azure Bicep, Pulumi, or similar tools will be considered an additional advantage.
- Familiarity with Linux, Unix, command-line tools, shell scripting, deployment, configuration, package management, and server environments will be beneficial.
- Exposure to microservices, distributed systems, service-oriented architecture, scalable backend services, or event-driven applications will be considered an advantage.
- Familiarity with AWS Lambda,
Azure Functions, Google Cloud Functions, serverless architectures, or event-driven cloud services will be beneficial.
- Exposure to networking concepts such as VPC/VNet, subnets, routing, load balancers, DNS, firewalls, security groups, gateways, and private/public networking will be advantageous.
- Familiarity with cloud security concepts such as IAM, role-based access control, secrets management, encryption, certificates, OAuth, JWT, secure APIs, and least-privilege access will be beneficial.
- Exposure to monitoring, logging, tracing, alerting, observability, or tools such as CloudWatch, Azure Monitor, Google Cloud Monitoring, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, or OpenTelemetry will be advantageous.
- Exposure to Kafka, RabbitMQ, Redis, caching, message queues, asynchronous processing, or event-driven architectures will be considered an additional advantage.
- Familiarity with Git, GitHub, version control, branching, pull requests, code reviews, debugging, and collaborative software-development workflows.
- Exposure to unit testing, API testing, integration testing, JUnit, PyTest, Jest, Postman, or similar testing technologies will be beneficial but is not mandatory.
- Exposure to cloud data platforms, data engineering, analytics, AI/ML, ERP, CRM, automation, dashboards, or enterprise applications will be considered an additional advantage.
- Familiarity with Agile, Scrum, Jira, SDLC, technical documentation, requirements gathering, change management, or issue tracking will be advantageous but is not mandatory.
- Good analytical, logical, debugging, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication, documentation, collaboration, and teamwork abilities.
- Ability to understand business and technical requirements and contribute to reliable, scalable, secure, maintainable, and cost-conscious cloud software solutions.
- Willingness to work in an in office environment.
- Internship, academic project, cloud project, backend project, DevOps project, AWS project, Azure project, GCP project, API project, container project, GitHub project, hackathon, freelance assignment, startup project, or open-source contribution will be considered but is not mandatory.
- Candidates without previous full-time cloud engineering experience can also apply.
- Strong willingness to learn new cloud platforms, programming languages, DevOps tools, databases, APIs, container technologies, and modern software-engineering practices.
