Job Title: Cloud Application Developer

Key Responsibilities

- Develop Cloud-Native Solutions: Design, test, and deploy software applications for the cloud, ensuring agility, security, availability, and scalability.

- Application Modernization: Work with cross-functional teams to assess, strategize, and execute the modernization of existing applications, enabling seamless migration to cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, and GCP.

- Migration Planning and Execution: Plan and execute smooth application migrations from on-premises to cloud environments with minimal disruptions to business operations.

- Monitoring and Troubleshooting: Establish robust monitoring and logging systems to proactively identify and resolve issues post-deployment.

Required Qualifications

Experience

- Open to candidates transitioning from traditional development backgrounds.

Technical Expertise

- Cloud Platform Proficiency: Expertise in at least one major cloud platform (Azure, AWS, or GCP).

- Application Architecture: Strong knowledge of containers, orchestration, microservices, serverless functions, and cloud service models. Familiarity with design principles such as domain-driven design, service discovery, API gateway, and circuit breaker.





- DevOps and CI/CD: Experience with tools like Git, Linux, Docker, Kubernetes, and GitOps. Solid understanding of DevOps, SRE practices, and CI/CD automation tools.

- Programming Skills: Proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Java, Python, JavaScript, or C#. Knowledge of additional languages like Go, Rust, Swift, Ruby, PHP, or Kotlin is a plus.

- Core experience in J2EE or .NET with frameworks like Spring Cloud, Micronaut, Quarkus, Vert.x, AWS SDK, or Azure Spring Boot.

- Familiarity with application libraries and frameworks such as Angular, React, or Flutter.

- Database Expertise: Experience with cloud databases such as Amazon RDS, Microsoft Azure SQL Database, Google Cloud SQL, Amazon DynamoDB, Azure Cosmos, or Google Cloud Firestore.

- Testing Skills: Proficiency in testing and debugging microservices using techniques like unit testing, integration testing, end-to-end testing, contract testing, and performance testing.

- API Development: Strong understanding of API development and testing, including security and performance considerations.

Soft Skills

- Excellent listening, writing, and speaking skills.

- Comfort working in Agile environments using tools like Scrum, Kanban, Jira, or Azure Boards.

- Certifications (Optional): Certifications and upskilling initiatives are appreciated but not mandatory.
