- Conduct psychological assessments and clinical evaluations.

- Provide diagnostic impressions based on psychological assessment and evaluation.

- Develop individualized treatment and intervention plans based on patient needs and clinical findings.

- Provide evidence-based psychotherapy for individuals experiencing emotional, behavioral and psychological difficulties.

- Provide crisis intervention and immediate psychological support during acute mental health distress or emergencies.

- Collaborate with psychiatrists, case managers, faculty, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.

- Conduct workshops and awareness programs for students, staff, and faculty on mental health,emotional well-being, communication skills, and resilience.

- Facilitate sessions on stress management, time management, emotional regulation, and coping skills.

- Maintain accurate, confidential, and timely clinical documentation of assessments, therapy sessions, and interventions.

- Participate in continuous career development programs, training,



and supervision conducted by Kauvery Hospital.

- Adhere to hospital policies, patient safety protocols, and professional ethical guidelines.

- Perform any additional duties or responsibilities assigned by the reporting supervisor.

- Attend to in - patient referrals and provide psychological consultation,assessment, counselling, and follow -up as clinically indicated.

- Actively participate in community outreach programmes and research activities conducated by the Behavioural Science Department and contribute to mental health promotion activities

- Undertake home visits when required, in accordance with clinical needs and hospital policies.

- Collborate and coordinate effectively with relevant departments and multidisciplinary teams.

- Actively participate in any department activities and report daily to the department HOD.
