We are looking for a Site Engineer Civil to manage and supervise day-to-day construction and interior works at project sites.

Key Responsibilities:

- Supervise and monitor daily site activities as per approved drawings, BOQ, specifications and project schedule.
- Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, subcontractors and suppliers.
- Ensure work is executed as per required quality standards and safety requirements.
- Monitor manpower, materials, tools and equipment at site.
- Take site measurements and prepare quantity measurements for billing and BOQ verification.
- Check material requirements and coordinate with the office/procurement team for timely availability.
- Read and understand civil, architectural and MEP drawings.
- Prepare daily progress reports and update project status to the Project Manager.
- Monitor work progress against the planned schedule and highlight delays/issues.
- Coordinate civil, waterproofing, flooring, false ceiling, partition, painting and other interior fit-out activities.
- Inspect completed works and ensure rectification of defects/snags.




- Maintain proper site records, measurements, photographs and work completion documentation.
- Ensure proper housekeeping and compliance with site safety requirements.
- Attend client/consultant site meetings and coordinate execution requirements.
- Handle multiple site activities and resolve day-to-day site execution issues.

Preferred Skills:

- Good knowledge of civil construction and interior fit-out works.
- Ability to read and understand drawings and BOQs.
- Knowledge of quantity measurement and billing.
- Valuable coordination and communication skills.
- Basic knowledge of MS Excel, Word and AutoCAD.
- Ability to manage labour and subcontractors at site.
- Willingness to travel to project sites within Chennai and nearby locations.

Qualification: Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Civil Engineering.

Experience:

0-5 years of relevant experience in construction, civil works or interior fit-out projects.
