Role Description This is a full-time Civil Engineer role in a hybrid work setup, primarily based in Ahmedabad with some work-from-home flexibility.
The Civil
Engineer will support the planning, design, and review of residential, commercial, and industrial projects in alignment with municipal bylaws and regulatory requirements. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing and evaluating civil engineering designs, reviewing site plans, coordinating with architectural and regulatory teams. The role also involves preparing technical documentation, supporting building plan approval submissions, and collaborating with consultants and municipal authorities to resolve design and compliance issues.
The Civil
Engineer will contribute to project feasibility assessments, ensure adherence to safety and quality standards, and assist in optimizing layouts for efficient, compliant construction.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong skills in Civil Engineering Design and core Civil Engineering principles.
- Candidates should possess skills in Planning and layout optimization for residential, commercial, and industrial projects.
- Candidates should be qualified Civil Engineers, with the ability to apply technical knowledge to regulatory and compliance-focused projects.
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a closely related field; qualified licensure or registration is an advantage.
- Knowledge of local building bylaws, municipal approval processes, and relevant codes and standards.
- Proficiency with civil engineering and CAD/design software, and ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a hybrid environment.
- Prior experience in building permissions, infrastructure projects, or architectural consultancy is beneficial.
