Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Civil Engineer to support our Business Development function in rate analysis, project estimation, quantity surveying, site data collection, and tender / bid-related activities. The role will support business development for Routine & Incidental Works.

Key Responsibilities

1. Rate Analysis & Costing

- Prepare detailed rate analysis for civil works including earthwork, RCC, structural, finishing, utilities and routine works.

- Prepare material, labour and equipment cost breakdowns.

- Conduct market rate studies and benchmarking.

- Prepare productivity-based cost estimates.

- Prepare justification sheets for deviations in rates.

Project

Estimation & Quantity Surveying

- Prepare BOQ (Bill of Quantities).

- Carry out quantity take-offs from drawings and site data.

- Prepare cost estimates for tenders and pre-bid submissions.





- Prepare abstract cost sheets and project budgets.

- Support variation claims and reconciliation.

3. Site Survey & Data Collection

- Conduct site visits for feasibility assessment.

- Coordinate with field teams to validate quantities and site information.

Business Development

Support

- Prepare technical inputs for tender / bid submissions.

- Assist in proposal documentation and costing strategy.

- Support client meetings with technical and cost data.

- Identify scope opportunities and value engineering inputs.

- Conduct competitor rate comparisons and support market intelligence.

- Work on offer-rate calculations for RM, item-rate works, road furniture and related works.

B.Tech. in Civil Engineering.
