Role Description The Civil Design Engineer is a full time, on-site role based in Tiruchirappalli. The role involves preparing civil design drawings, calculations, and reports for infrastructure and land development projects, including roads, drainage systems, and site layouts. Day-to-day responsibilities include analyzing project requirements, performing design and modeling using relevant CAD and civil design software, and ensuring compliance with applicable standards and codes.

The Civil Design

Engineer will coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, review designs for constructability, support preparation of technical documentation,



and assist in resolving design-related issues during project execution. The role also includes participation in internal reviews, updating design revisions, and supporting project managers in meeting schedule and quality objectives.

Qualifications

- Strong foundation in Civil Engineering and Civil Engineering Design with 3 to 5 years of experience, with the ability to apply engineering principles to practical project scenarios.
- Experience in Land Development and Stormwater Management, including site grading, drainage design, and erosion control planning.
- Proficiency in Roadway Design, including alignment, profiles, cross-sections, and related geometric design elements.
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a closely related field; professional certification or registration (or progress toward it) is an advantage.
- Working knowledge of relevant design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Civil 3D or equivalent) and familiarity with local and international standards and codes.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organization skills, with attention to detail and accuracy in design work.
- Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in a fast-paced project environment.
