Role Description The CI Printing Shift Incharge is a full-time, on-site role based at Shansco’s manufacturing facility near Chennai. The role involves overseeing the CI flexo printing operations during assigned shifts, including planning and monitoring production schedules, coordinating machine setup, and ensuring efficient execution of print jobs.

Responsibilities include supervising machine operators and support staff, maintaining quality standards, minimizing downtime, and ensuring optimal use of materials and resources.



The CI Printing Shift Incharge will monitor print parameters, troubleshoot printing issues, conduct regular inspections of output, and ensure compliance with safety and operational procedures. The role also includes shift reporting, coordination with maintenance and production planning teams, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives in print quality, productivity, and cost efficiency.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Supervisory Skills, including team leadership, shift management, and performance monitoring.
- Candidates should possess Print Production and Printing skills, with hands-on experience in CI flexo printing or comparable packaging print processes.
- Candidates should possess Bindery and finishing-related skills, with knowledge of downstream processes such as slitting, rewinding, and pouch/bag making.
- Candidates should possess clear and effective Communication skills for coordinating with cross-functional teams and documenting shift activities.
- Diploma or degree in Printing Technology, Packaging Technology, Mechanical/Production Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
- Experience in adaptable packaging, laminates, or multi-layer film production will be an advantage.
- Knowledge of quality control standards, safety practices, and basic troubleshooting of printing and auxiliary equipment is beneficial.
- Ability to work in rotating shifts, maintain attention to detail under time constraints, and adapt to a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
