Role Overview We are looking for a Competitive Intelligence & Primary Market Research professional to lead end-to-end CI and PMR projects across the pharmaceutical and biotech landscape. The role will involve client and team management, KOL/HCP engagement, conference intelligence, and translating complex research into actionable strategic insights.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead and execute primary market-research projects end-to-end , including project scoping, discussion-guide development, respondent identification/recruitment, KOL/HCP interviews, qualitative/quantitative research, analysis, and insight reporting.
- Design and execute secondary research and competitive intelligence across clinical development, regulatory events, commercial performance, epidemiology, market dynamics, deals, launches, and key catalysts.
- Develop company, product, market, competitor, and therapeutic-area profiles to support strategic decision-making.
- Track competitor pipelines, clinical-trial milestones, regulatory events, approvals, lifecycle-management activities,



commercial developments, investor updates, and strategic transactions.
- Develop executive newsletters, intelligence alerts, landscape assessments, and client-ready reports and presentations.
- Plan and execute medical-conference intelligence programs , including conference prioritization and planning, competitor tracking, in office/virtual attendance, KOL/HCP engagement, booth and poster monitoring, real-time intelligence capture, and development of post-conference reports.
- Translate research findings into strategic implications, risks, opportunities, and actionable recommendations for clients.
- Manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously, ensuring high-quality deliverables within tight timelines.
- Work closely with clients and internal teams to understand business questions, refine research objectives, address ad hoc requests, and deliver decision-oriented insights.
- Contribute to proposal development, research design, and business-development activities where required.

Requirements

- 5–10 years of experience in Competitive Intelligence, Primary Market Research, pharma consulting, or life sciences research
- Hands-on experience managing end-to-end CI and/or PMR projects , ideally within a pharma company or consulting firms
- Experience conducting KOL/HCP interviews and primary research
- Experience with medical conference planning, on-site coverage, and intelligence reporting
- Strong knowledge of at least 2 therapeutic areas
- Excellent analytical, PowerPoint, Excel, communication, and client-management skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and tight timelines independently
- Master’s/PhD in Pharmacy, Life Sciences, or a related discipline ; MBA is an advantage
