Position Title Chief Manager - NPD (Cable Division)

Position Summary This position is responsible for recent and existing HV/EHV cable product development and is responsible for providing process support to solve material and design related issues.

Key Accountabilities / Responsibilities

- Preparing Technical Particulars / Design Datasheets & Cross-sectional drawings for EHV, HV, MV XLPE, Solar, MVCC Cables as per Indian & International standards
- Preparing manufacturing guidelines for plant production team
- Knowledge of Indian Standards (IS) & International Standards (IEC, BS, AS/NZS, UL etc)
- Raw material estimation (Bill of material) calculation for cable costing
- Calculations of all Electrical parameters applicable for HV/EHV cable
- Calculation of accessories for EHV cable turnkey projects along with cable system design
- Ability to design new products
- Knowledge about Raw materials of HV/EHV cable
- Knowledge about HV/EHV cable testing
- Familiar with SAP/AutoCAD / CYMCAP

Critical Success Factors - Essential

- Professional with over 5+ years
- Bachelor’s in engineering with Minimum 5 years’ experience in HV/EHV cable design
